Round 10 Votes

With Round 10 votes now in the system, the top three have shuffled around yet again in what has been a dramatic Phantom Brownlow Medal count so far.

Nat Fyfe has reclaimed his place at the top with 2 votes coming his way in Round 10. He has now moved up to 17 votes total.

After spending last week in second place, Fyfe has resumed his spot in top place with a scintillating effort against North Melbourne, despite the Dockers suffering a loss.

Carlton ace Patrick Cripps was also in top form with a likely 3 votes coming his way. Amazingly, he is now in third position and a genuine chance of claiming the 2018 Brownlow Medal.

In a rare occurrence, Bulldogs star Jack Macrae did not poll any votes in Round 10. That marks only the second time since Round 2 that we do not have him polling any votes. He remains in second spot on 16 votes, just behind Fyfe.

The other mover in round 10 was Trent Cotchin, who finds himself in the top five with a certain 2 votes coming his way.

Cotchin is now on 11 votes and shares fifth position with Jack Darling and Tom Mitchell.

Watch out for Brodie Grundy too. He has 3 votes coming his way in Round 10 and sees himself move up to 10 votes total. Amazingly, we have him equal with Dustin Martin who has slowed down a little in recent weeks.

Other players who deserve a memorable mention in Round 10 who likely have 3 votes coming there war are Josh Caddy who booted 6 goals, Dayne BeamsJarrad WaiteAndrew Gaff, and Dyson Heppell.

Looking Ahead

The Round 11 fixture has a quirk in it, that being that all the top nine teams are fixtured against the bottom nine teams.

In terms of the Brownlow Medal, the Western Bulldogs vs Melbourne game on Saturday stands to have the biggest impact.

Jack Macrae (2nd), Max Gawn (4th) and Jesse Hogan (10th) will all take to the field and if they all poll votes, it will make things very interesting.

The Collingwood and Fremantle game on Sunday should be a corker too. Nat Fyfe (1st) will be up against Brodie Grundy (8th) and Steele Sidebottom (10th).

And the spotlight will be on Patrick Cripps (3rd) as Carlton play an undeserved Friday night match against Sydney.
