Phantom Brownlow Team Leaders for Melbourne

Melbourne Most Brownlow Votes certainly looks an interesting one heading into season 2018 with a good mix of players representing good value.

Youngster Clayton Oliver looks a genuine talent, polling 12 votes last year in just his second season of AFL football. He has plenty of upside and could emerge as an A-Grade midfielder in 2018, so maybe the odds on him will drop soon.

Max Gone polled 16 votes in 2016 to top this market, before falling back a bit last year and polling just 3 votes. If he can return to the form of two seasons ago, he is a genuine chance here. It is a similar story for Jack Viney who polled 14 votes in 2016, then just 9 last year.

Another who looks value is Nathan Jones who has been a star for this team for over a decade. He has polled double digits in 4 of the past six seasons, so knows how to attract votes. Christian Petracca is also an interesting prospect.
