How To Use Phantom Brownlow Medal

So you want to run your own Phantom Brownlow to try and beat the bookies at the end of the year? You're in the right place! We'll explain how to use the site so you can.

Register and Login

Firstly you need to be registered so you can login to the site. Go to the registration page to complete this.

NEW! Check out our how to vote on Phantom Brownlow video!

Go to your Phantom Brownlow page

At the end of each day when games are played, the statistics will go into our database and you can enter your votes.

To do this, once you're logged in to to "My Brownlow Count" which is a link in the top left hand corner of the site. You will now see a screen with results and your Phantom Brownlow leaderboard.

To assign votes, simply click "Add Brownlow Votes" on each game and you'll be taken to details of that match in a new window.

Enter your Votes

You'll notice every player has four icons next to his name. These represent the following:

Simply click the icon next to each player you want to award this level to. Your "vote" will immediately be saved to our database - there's no need to refresh or submit! Click the image to the right for a larger version.

How you use this voting system is completely up to you, but we decided it's a better way to get an idea of the sort of vote range to expect from a player come the end of the season, rather than being stuck to the basic 3-2-1 picks.

You can then safely close the window and go back to the "Your Brownlow Count" page. If you're using Firefox or Google Chrome, your match list will update automatically. If you're using Internet Explorer, you'll have to click the green refresh icon to refresh the list of matches to reflect the votes you've added.

On all browsers, click the green refresh icon next to your leaderboard to reflect the changes of the votes you've just added. You can also view your votes by club by selecting a club from the drop-down list.

Come back each week and keep entering your votes!

Every week you can add your votes once matches are completed, and at the end of the year you'll have your own Phantom Brownlow count.
